NEW AVATAR-
A new avatar has now been posted! It's been up for a bit now, but we might as well post a nice announcement as well. One more thing on the club to-do list down. It is a lovely redead if anyone is wondering. I know it might be a bit hard to tell, but it sure beats a likelike. If anyone ever feels like submitting an avatar for the club please feel free to send in a note. Until then you'll all have a hollow-eyed redead stare at you from the page.

This club isn't going to be too thrilling without any participation by the members, so if there is something you would like to do PLEASE LET ME KNOW! It's so sad when we go an entire month without a single member comment or activity.

Contest Guidelines:
To enter a piece in a contest simply send a note to the club account titles CONTEST with a link to the piece you'd like to enter. We'll then add you to the submissions list to show off your stuff. We'll then announce the lucky winners at the end of the contest and note you with a congratulations if you win!

Some Rules:

• It needs to be Zelda related. I know this is probably obvious, but you never know.


• Absolutely NO sexual incidents involved in the pictures


• Try to keep the gore around midlevel at most


• Unless otherwise noted there are no size limits ~ within reason

Postponed indefinitely - "Your Favorite Monster Triumphing Over Link"
As all the monsters tend to get their arses completly whomped by Link, this contest's theme is Your Favourite Monster Triumphing Over Link.

Prizes:
1st place, 2 requests, and one poem of choice
2nd place, 1 request, and one short poem of choice
3rd place (and runners up) one short poem of choice

Monsters-of-Hyrule is a club dedicated to supporting all the monsters found in the Zelda games. Through contests and events we celebrate the many adversaries that make Link's fight so enthralling. We are open to anyone that wishes to join in and just let us know if you wish to become a member.


Some History:
Monsters-of-Hyrule was founded on August 5, 2005 by bathsraikou in light of her "Project Octorock" (you'll have to ask her directly about what that is). The club then went through bursts of activity before finally dying in the end of May 2006. It remained inactive for some time before the current owner, SoraMimiru, found it on an abandoned clubs listing and adopted it. The club officially reopened on August 19, 2008 and is now working towards being a active and welcoming community of Zelda enthusiasts.
